FLASH SALE
This one is one of those bonkers paintings which hasn't found it's forever home yet. I absolutely love this painting. It hangs in my corridor at the moment on a bright white wall and looks stunning. I think it would look great in a bedroom also.
Up close it has real subtle feminine charm and softness.
From afar it has a grounded strength and confidence in her own power.

Shape Shifter
This painting has been living in my studio for 2 years. I've never shown it to anyone or posted it on social media ever.
It's lived quietly with me, and I've pondered over it from time to time and considered it's presence.
It certainly has a presence.
I used an old photo as reference which is something I don't often do.
The photo is of the crew of the Longhope Lifeboat standing on the boat, and was the front cover of the Radio Times in 1969 shortly after the Longhope lifeboat disaster. It shows most of the new crew who stepped in after the death of the full crew in the disaster.
There's a darkness in this painting, but also a hopeful positive strength.

As The Arrows Whistled Along With The Tune
This is the other wild painting still available from my Anglesey exhibition.
A painting of great power and strength, it has elements of sea and currents pulling from underneath.
The title was inspired by the story of St Magnus of Orkney refusing to fight against the Norman earls & their army while under the control of King Magnus Bare-Legs in 1098.
"He sat on the longship singing from his psalter, as the arrows whistled along with the tune."
